TechConnect is operated by iACTIVE SOLUTIONS. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.
What TechConnect is
TechConnect is an introduction service. Clients describe work they need done; system integrators quote for it. We are not a party to the contract between you. We do not perform the work, do not supervise it, do not guarantee it, and do not handle payment for it. The agreement for any job is between the client and the integrator directly.
In plain terms: we introduce you and give you the tools to compare quotes. The work, the price, the invoice and the warranty are between the two of you.
Accounts
- You must give a real mobile number you control, and accurate details about yourself or your business.
- Every new account is reviewed by an administrator before it can sign in. We may decline an account, and we don't have to explain why.
- Your account is yours. Don't share your sign-in code, and don't let anyone else act as you.
- One account per person or business. Don't create additional accounts to work around a suspension or to inflate ratings.
- You must be 18 or over.
Posting requirements and quotes
- Describe the work honestly, and don't post a requirement you have no intention of awarding.
- Quote in good faith: the figure you submit should be the figure you will honour, and taxes should be stated as they will be invoiced.
- Accepting a quote in the app declines the others. Treat an acceptance as a commitment to proceed, and tell the other party promptly if something changes.
- Only upload files you have the right to share. Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything containing someone else's personal information without their consent.
Verification and Trust Score
A "verified" badge means we have carried out a check on that integrator's details at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, licensing, insurance or solvency, and it does not transfer any responsibility for the work to us. A Trust Score is a summary of activity on the platform — verification, ratings, completed jobs and profile completeness — and nothing more. Both can be withdrawn.
Ratings and reviews
- Review the work you actually received. Don't write reviews for jobs that didn't happen, and don't offer anything in exchange for a review.
- Reviews are published with your name and shown to other users.
- We may remove a review that is abusive, defamatory, or clearly not about a real job.
Offers
Offers posted in the app are claimed once, by whoever accepts first, and are subject to whatever terms the offer itself states. An offer may be withdrawn or reposted at any time before it is claimed.
What you must not do
- Use the platform for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or defraud another user.
- Scrape, copy or resell listings, profiles or contact details.
- Interfere with the service — attempting to break authentication, overload the servers, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Misrepresent who you are, what your business does, or what licences and approvals you hold.
Suspension
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, that is the subject of credible complaints, or that puts other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
The app itself
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. The app is distributed directly by us rather than through an app store; only install builds obtained from techconnect4u.com.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, iACTIVE SOLUTIONS is not liable for the quality, timing, legality or safety of work arranged through TechConnect, for any agreement or payment between a client and an integrator, or for losses arising from a user's conduct. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the users who need to see it so the marketplace can function — for example, showing your requirement to integrators in that category.
Privacy
What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use TechConnect after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
